Hole 3

The 3rd is not a long hole by today’s standards, but it can certainly show its teeth. The only time it plays easy, is when there is no wind. The tee is protected by large trees, so sometimes you don’t feel the extent of the wind near the green, as the green is very exposed.

Once again, out-of-bounds is situated to the right, but it doesn’t really come into play as tall trees stop most balls from entering the car park. Bunkers surround the front and left hand side of the green, and a steep bank on the right make an up and down difficult to achieve. An accurate and well judged tee shot is paramount as the hole can play from an 8 iron to a 5 iron depending on the wind direction. An excellent par 3.
