Hole 9
The last hole at Nedlands is a long dog-leg left par 4 with an uphill tee shot, so it really plays to its length. A deep bunker is positioned at the corner of the dog-leg, which isn’t really visible from the tee. The tee shot is played through a fairly narrow shoot between trees, which can be difficult for a person who plays with a big slice or a big draw. The ideal drive is just to the right of the bunker because if you do find the bunker, the green will not be easily reachable.
Find the fairway and you will leave yourself with a second shot of about 150m. The second shot is played off a similar side hill lie to the 5th, as the holes run parallel with one another. The green is of average size, with a ridge that runs from the front left through the middle of the green to the rear, leaving a difficult putt to any pin position at the back of the green. A long bunker is short and left of the green, and a bunker is situated to the right front. All in all, a good finishing hole and the hardest hole at Nedlands. Flyover
