Major course renovation will commence this weekend with the course closed all day on Sunday 27th November and Monday 28th November and again Thursday 1st December. Friday 2nd December will see the course closed until 1300h.
Coring of tee areas has commenced and next week we will see major equipment bought in by Turfmaster to verticut and deep core all fairways and practice areas. This work will appear very severe, however it is necessary to remove organic thatching and promote stronger grass growth on the fairways.
In addition, our greens will be heavily sanded and cored. Minor dusting and coring will continue monthly.
Members are requested to keep off the course during these times as there will be numerous staff and large tractors and mowers in operation.
