Coring and Sanding of Greens
This is scheduled for Sunday 9th January commencing at 1200h and will be completed by early afternoon on Monday 10th January. Please note that in the event of very hot weather conditions over this period, the sanding component may need to be delayed until cooler weather prevails.
The course will be closed during these times to enable the Course Staff to carry out their work effectively and efficiently.
Coring removes the build-up of organic matter which helps alleviate black layer, a potential cause of root disease. It also adds oxygen to the root system and the new sand provides better drainage.
Please note that members must give way to the Course Staff during these times for Health and Occupational Safety reasons.
