The 2021 “Official” Golfing Season comes to a close this week and it has been a very busy playing year for all members. So, with the closing of the season upon us it would be appropriate to recap on the Mixed Events of the year and the Medalist of the year.

MEDALIST OF THE YEAR
During the season there were 12 Monthly Medals conducted and on Saturday 4th of November eleven of the winners played in the Medalist of the Year event held in conjunction with the Monthly Medal competition.
The event was generously sponsored by past President and Captain, Darrell Arnett. Our appreciation is extended to Darrell for his ongoing support of the club.
104 players set out to win the Monthly Medal and become the first qualifier for the 2022 Medalist of the Year.
The winner of the Monthly Medal was Tim Song with a fine score of 67. Tim also won Medalist of the Year and became the first qualifier for next year. Coincidentally, Tim qualified for this year’s end of year event by winning the 2020 November Monthly Medal. Congratulations Tim.
So as far as major events are concerned that is it for 2021. Congratulations to all winners this year and best of luck for the year ahead.
