COVID-19 Golf Operations Update
19 June 2020
Phase 3 of the COVID-19 WA Roadmap was announced recently and came into effect on 6 June 2020. As a result, the following facilities will be available for member’s use from Saturday 20 June 2020. These facilities will be cleaned prior to opening for your safety and convenience.
-
Showers and change-rooms
-
Ball and club washers
-
Drinking fountains
Motorised Carts Members are now able to share motorised carts. To reduce wear and tear on the course, the Committee strongly encourages members to share carts.
The Motorised Winter Cart policy is in place:
-
Honour blue lines at all times
-
Drive on edge of rough where possible
-
Avoid muddy areas and spread wear and tear
-
Maximum 2 carts per group
-
$15 each for double rider; $20 for single rider
An updated advice to players notice will be published in conjunction with this notice for bunkers, flagsticks, holes (cups) and scoring which will come into effect from Saturday 20 June 2020.
Whilst we are comfortable with the implementation of the above in line with Phase 3 of the COVID-19 WA Roadmap, and concede that the risk of contracting COVID-19 at the golf club is extremely low, we do encourage members to continue to be sensible and take the necessary precautions to protect themselves.
