10am arrival for a 10.30am Shotgun Start

Team entry is $45.00 ($15 p/player)

There will be spots available for 12 Groups. Each group will consist of one purchased pennant player and 3 members. 

Each team is expected to make a combined bid in addition to their $45.00 entrance fee for a choice of pennant player to join their team and a choice of their team’s starting hole (silent auction). Envelopes for the silent auction can be collected from the Proshop. 

The team with the highest bid gets the first pick of a pennant player and starting hole. Get in early as envelopes are required to be returned to the Pro shop by Friday 10 January 2020.

The aim of the day is to raise money for our two pennant teams that will represent our club in the 2020 season.

NOVELTY HOLES:

 

2/11 – Mick Dundee Hole

Longest drive (on the fairway) On the 2nd for balls finishing on the fairway. Simply move the sign to where your ball finished, if it was further from the tee than where the sign originally lay.

“that’s not a drive, this is a drive”

3/12 – Dirty Harry Hole

There will be a circle with a radius of 1m on the green around the hole. $5 in, with odds of 10:1 to win $50. A ball which finishes on or inside the circle will result in the player winning $50. If the ball finishes outside the circle you lose.

6/15 – The ‘So what’ Hole

Straightest drive hole will be on the 6th fairway with a line indicating the middle of the fairway. There will be a prize at the end of the day for the player that hits the ball that finished closest to the line. Move the flag to where your ball finished (inside edge of the ball) if it is closer to the line than where the sign originally lay.

Yep- ho hum

7/16 – Piston Broke Hole

Each team as they play the 7th hole will be invited to enter into the team nearest the pin competition. For a team contribution of $15 all three balls have a chance to win the nearest the pin prize of a ½ dozen premium wines to share amongst the team.
