Last Sunday was the final round for the 2018 Winter Cup sponsored by Andrew Frazer. With the sun shining on Saturday and the rain holding off on the Sunday there were no excuses. The winner of the two day event was John Samuels with +1 on Saturday and all square on Sunday, with eagles on the 6th and 15th on Saturday.
John paid tribute to his playing partners and the green staff for the great condition of the course. He also thanked the sponsor mentioning if it wasn’t for members like Andrew events like these couldn’t happen.
Runner up for the Winter Cup was Greg Polla who was all square just beating Chye Tan on a countback.
This was the first year the Business Ladies joined the competition. Congratulations to Krystina Knotterrus who came in at 5th with a score of -1.
