David Hadingham collected the rescheduled President’s Cup by being the only player to break his handicap on the day. The DSR was again 74 as a rainy morning, cool conditions and quick greens made scoring difficult despite a large field.
The season has got off to a flying start with winners galore… Rob Viol took out Men’s Opening Day, Melvista Cup with a score of 7 up, which he followed up with a 4bbb Stableford win the following week with partner David Blackmore (52 points). The Father & Son trophy, sponsored by John Duncan was conducted on the same day with the Morris’ being successful.
