Today Golf Australia through Golf Link have reviewed the slope ratings for the Nedlands Golf Club and have agreed with the recommendation put forward by Golf WA in consultation with the Club to reduce the slope rating for each set of tees as follows;

Women’s Red                   Par: 74                  Scratch Rating: 74             Slope Rating: 128

Men’s Blue                        Par: 72                  Scratch Rating: 71             Slope Rating: 128

Men’s White                      Par: 72                  Scratch Rating: 70             Slope Rating: 125

Men’s Yellow                     Par: 72                  Scratch Rating: 69             Slope Rating: 122

Please note that Golf Link will be making the updates to the above courses over the night of Tuesday, March 10. This will mean that come Wednesday morning it is likely that the majority of members GA handicaps will have changed. You may find that players GA handicaps will actually increase. Obviously when you calculate a players daily handicap using 128 from Wednesday there will be little or no change from their current daily handicap. The difference will be when a visitor (for example during pennants) plays at Nedlands, they will now play off a lower daily handicap than they would have last year.
