A WELCOME VISITOR TO THE CLUB
A welcome visitor to the Club last Friday was John F Banting. John F is the uncle of former leading WA player John M Banting.
He played in a cart with John M, and at the age of 85, had 36 off the stick on the front nine, including consecutive 3s on the 6th, 7th, and 8th holes.
John F played by invitation in the first Nedlands Masters in 1947 with the rest of the State Team, which is pictured below.
