The team continues to grow in confidence with a hard-fought win against Royal Fremantle Golf Club at Gosnells.
It was a morning of seesawing fortunes for both Clubs, one team took the ascendency then the other but, in the end, it was the Nedlands team which was victorious.
Luke Bai was the first player to get home with a closely fought match finishing 1up.
Next in was Noah Keren’s turn as he holed out on the 18th to secure a second win 2/1.
Ollie Wright came up against a Fremantle player in fine form who was 4 up on the turn, but Ollie fought back to be only 2 down going to the 16th , but could not get the all-important putt for the match to continue. His opponent was only 5 over the card when the match finished ending with a 3/2 loss.
Harry Alcock was looking forward to continuing his fine start to the season but just couldn’t square it off on the 18th finishing with a 2/1 loss.
With both teams locked at two wins each, it was up to Theo Grobler to win the last match and secure a Nedlands a 3/2 win.
Arjun Rodrigues playing as reserve acquitted himself well.
Next week we travel to Mandurah where we hope to continue our fine start to the season.
