I am pleased to announce the appointment of our new General Manager, Ben Unbehaun. Ben starts this week and comes to us with a background in golf administration over many years. Ben even worked with our very own Greg Fitzhardinge in a past life, and anyone that can survive that must be OK in my book! I will leave it to Ben to make his own introductions below.
Suffice for me to say that we are very pleased to have Ben on board (none more so than Karen and Wilfred who have been covering the absent GM role for a couple of months now!).

Dear members, I’m delighted to begin my role with Nedlands Golf Club, a club I have been associated with, in some form, my entire life. I have memories of swimming in the pool with my Grandparents Mavis and Bruce Glaskin leading me to joining the club as a junior in 1992. I was a member for the next 15 years.
I have been involved in golf administration extensively throughout my career, including roles with:
- WA Golf / Graham Marsh Junior Golf Foundation
- Golf Manager at Royal Perth Golf Club
- General Manager at Lakelands Country Club
Most recently I have been located in Karratha coordinating a recreation centre. The lure to return to golf is strong and I look forward to being reacquainted with members and meeting many more over the coming months.
