With summer upon us, we have noticed an increasing number of members using the golf course in the early mornings before the first allocated time slot. While we encourage members to use the course as much as possible, please be aware that greens staff have full right of way during this period, as regular maintenance must be completed prior to competition play. This means if you approach a green and maintenance is being carried out, please wait to be called through or proceed to the next tee.

We have also noticed too many instances where members are not paying sufficient respect to the course and/or their fellow members. Please take care to

  • not play more than 2 balls when practicing on the course (we see too many cases of multiple divot’s where multiple balls have been played)
  • chop in your divots after your shot
  • repair your pitch marks and rake bunkers properly after your shot
  • move along swifty to the next tee after putting out (you do not need to watch all playing partners putt out when the field is full)
