Take Notice that the Committee of the Nedlands Golf Club Inc has resolved to adjourn the proposed meeting of
22nd September 2022 to consider and if thought fit pass a special resolution to make a call on members to Tuesday
27th September at 6.00pm as a result of the decision of the Federal Government to declare the 22nd September a public holiday
of mourning for the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
Proxies received for the 22nd September meeting will apply at the adjourned meeting.
| Update on Tax Deductible donations As mentioned in our previous communication we are continuing to evaluate the option to use the Australian Sports Foundation (https://asf.org.au/) for the tax-deductible pre-payment of the Levy. If we are able to meet the conditions of the ASF, then members will have the ability to pay the Levy upfront (i.e $750) through the ASF and have it tax deductible. We have used this facility previously for the Greens Shed. Key conditions of the ASF are that donations are unconditional, non-refundable and have not been invoiced. This means that if the levy is approved on 27 September, members will likely have a two-week window to use the ASF facility before annual invoices are issued around Mid-October. Those members that have made their contribution through the ASF will not have the levy applied to their Annual Renewal invoices.
