2015 Sock it to Sarcoma winners
WA Sarcoma Awareness Week is being held again this year 15 – 20 June, to continue the campaign to educate and inform the WA community about sarcoma.
It is a series of community activities and events that will raise awareness of a rare and particularly aggressive group of primary bone and soft tissue tumours that can strike with considerable speed, devastating potential and often in young people.
The Men’s midweek competition on Wednesday 17 June will be going towards the Hollywood Private Hospital Research Foundation to support WA Sarcoma Awareness Week. All prizes are donated by Damian Franzmann and there will be a couple of raffles for some Grange.
So all up we have raised just over $4K for the
day $1660 from Everyday Hero and $2493.50 from last Wednesday. Could you please
pass on my heart felt thanks to all those who happily parted with their
competition fee and brought a few raffle tickets. Also to all those who donated prizes particularly Vernon Sexton-Finck and Andrew MacAuslan from the proshop. Regards Damian
